From SEO Crisis to Google's Top 3 Positions - In Just 2 Months

When your business almost entirely relies on Google as the main source of leads, losing visibility in search engines is no longer just a technical problem - it's a direct blow to revenue. This is especially true when dealing with a niche industry where Facebook or other platform advertising practically doesn't work, and customers search for specific keywords to find services.

This is exactly the situation our client found themselves in - a B2B company operating in the workplace safety sector, offering highly qualified consulting services to the market. This case study details the causes, problem identification process, implemented steps, and the results that brought the page to top 3 positions in 2 months.

First Step - Problem Identification

Initially, we conducted a detailed SEO audit aimed at understanding why the client's service page wasn't appearing for the keyword that was their main source of leads. It turned out that the page had been penalized by Google - as a result of an old technical error, the system was incorrectly evaluating the page and not showing it in search results at all. Interestingly, a blog post that was less relevant thematically was still appearing in the SERP, but only on the third page, generating practically no traffic.

At this point, it became clear that solving the problem would require more than just content improvements, it required technical and in-depth SEO and this marked the real start of the optimization process.

Technical Intervention That Changed Everything

After identifying the problem, we moved to specific and strategic optimization steps aimed at removing Google's penalty and complete rehabilitation of the page in search engines. First, we reviewed the URL structure - we changed the service page address so that it was maximally aligned with the target keyword theme. In parallel, meta titles and meta descriptions were updated, which sent a direct signal to Google about the page's importance and content.

The next stage involved implementing a 301 Redirect - the old blog post that was already positioning in search was redirected to the service page so that content authority would be properly redistributed. Additionally, we implemented an internal link building strategy: from other blogs, including thematically related articles, internal linking was done to the service page. To strengthen its authority, we also added one high-quality backlink - from a thematically relevant and trusted source, which emphasized the page's importance and credibility for Google.

Google's First Green Light

Within a few days of technical intervention, the first positive signals appeared. Google began reindexing the page, which meant the system recognized the changes and was ready for re-evaluation of the page. Soon, the service page appeared in search results for the first time at position 10.

This was the turning point: The page was brought back into the search results by 10xSEO. Although it was still far from the goal, the most important thing was clearly visible - our strategy was working and Google was responding correctly to the implemented changes.

Results That Came in 2 Months

In the site rehabilitation process, the most important thing was not only Google's reaction, but also positioning stability and creating real value for the business. As soon as the page returned to search engines, gradual progress began - and in this process, every detail mattered. Adding backlinks, improving internal structure, and enriching site content was 10xSEO's strategic move, which should bring not temporary, but long-term results for the client.

After two months, the page established its place exactly where its existence is most important - in the third position, for the keyword that is a direct lead generator for the client. This position means that a user actively searching for a specific service encounters a properly structured, trusted, and thematically relevant page on the first page. However, this is just the beginning - although the page has already established its place in the competitive space, the strategy that 10xSEO uses is designed not only for maintaining the position, but for improving it. Our next goal is already defined: the first position for the keyword that will bring the highest commercial potential for the client.

Ultimately, this result created a new reality and clearly showed that when a specific SEO strategy is backed by a team that sees the whole picture - not just keywords, but user behavior, not just technical details, but the competitive environment and Google algorithm dynamics - success is inevitable.
